To choose a chiller suitable for your own factory, you must understand the chiller’s cooling capacity, chilled water capacity, thermal efficiency and water tank capacity, temperature control accuracy, water quality requirements and water circulation system material requirements, so as to better use the chiller.
(1) How to choose the most suitable industrial chiller and small chiller? In fact, it is very simple. There is a selection formula:
Cooling capacity = chilled water flow * 4.187 * temperature difference * coefficient
1. The flow rate of chilled water refers to the flow rate of chilled water required for the operation of the machine, and the unit needs to be converted to liters/second;
2. The temperature difference refers to the temperature difference between the water entering and leaving the machine;
3. 4.187 is quantitative (specific heat capacity of water);
4. When choosing air-cooled chillers, multiply the coefficient by 1.3, and when choosing water-cooled chillers, multiply the coefficient by 1.1.
5. Select the corresponding machine model according to the calculated cooling capacity.
The general habit is to use P to calculate the size of the chiller, but the most important thing is to know the rated cooling capacity. If the general air-cooled 9.07KW looks like, choose a 3P machine. And so on.
